I would like to thank all of dog fanciers for their
efforts to create a purebred dog-loving culture.
I have tried to find the best way to improve our culture
in various areas since I was inaugurated in KKC.
KKC has overcome various difficulties since the establishment
in 1988.
Thanks to the efforts and supports
from the dog fanciers, the officers, staffs and members in KKC,
It became a government registered non-profit organization in
2001. Also, our affiliated rescue dog club (so-called KKC Rescue
Dog Club) is sanctioned by the government.
Our members are now over 300,000 and the clubs are over 100
all over the country. There is no doubt KKC is the largest
and most well organized club in Korea. As a leading kennel
club, I would like to make an effort to create the purebred
dog-loving culture in Korea.
To achieve my goal, I will not hesitate to invite reputable
judges from the other advanced kennel clubs in the abroad.
It is the best way to enjoy the value of the human and animal
bond.
Vice Chairman's Greeting
Gyu Cheol Shin
I am pleased to see the improvement of
our purebred dog-loving culture since I founded the body
of KKC in 1988.
I always have been the background of the
dog loving culture history in this country.
I have spent most of my life time
to advance the study on the purebred dogs and improve the quality
of the dogs.
Sometimes, I had to come through hard
time when I faced the difficulties to lead the club but I stood
up again and again thanks to your supports.
At the beginning of our dog show, I had to do cleaning and
setting the ring myself but there were always gratitude supports
from the outside of the ring. That was you.
I couldn't stop appreciating you because our history was built
by your supports. Now I am going to move forward to introduce
the advanced dog loving culture from the advanced clubs in
other countries.
I have made a big effort to invite reputable
judges from the advanced kennel clubs, specially AKC. I do
thank for the judges from AKC, CKC, KC, IRO and WUSV. They
flew for a long time to share their experience and knowledge.
I am convinced that they seed a purebred dog loving culture
in Korea. Also, I thank all dog fanciers in here at where
I am standing.
